The proper Dunmer race mod has been updated, so this isn't really going to be supported anymore. Personally not a fan of how Biotech handles new 'races', so I'll be sticking with HAR for anything that should be its own race from now on. You can use both at the same time I guess, but there's really no reason to.
It's kinda like 'I can't believe it's not butter', but for Dunmer
Adds in a new Ashlander xenotype, as well as a couple of genes, and a new Fierce Ashlander Tribe faction.
Originally an assortment of genes created to aid in settling volcanically active planets, Ashlanders have since become their own distinct xenotype. Their skin, while rather fire resistant, has taken on a strange hue, an assortment of colours that some may compare to bruises. Their eyes are often as red as the lava that scatters the land they settle. While this doesn't seem to offer any meaningful advantage, it does help deter those foreign to their lands, or maybe that's just their inherently poor social skills and constant wheezing.
New genes:
Several new genes are added in, including three new skin colours, a new head type, and a gene that forces the 'Creepy Breathing' trait.
- Bruise-blue skin
- Bruise-green skin
- Bruise-purple skin
- Ashlander head
- Ashlander breathing
Ashlander xenotype:
Ashlanders will use all of the above genes, plus the additional ones listed below. If MorrowRim is enabled, then they will also have the 'Ash Resistance' gene as well. Additionally they also use a custom Ashlander name maker, ensuring that they (usually) generate with appropriate names.
- Cold weakness
- Heat tolerant
- Fire resistant
- Red eyes
- Pointed ears
- Mid-black hair
- Dark-black hair
- Ink-black hair
- Poor cooking
- Poor social
Answers to questions you may have:
- No, this will probably not work on 1.3 or older.
- If you use this alongside CE then ashlanders turn into miniguns that fire pineapples.
