Organs are valuable.

What can you do with all these raiders coming into your peaceful colony?
What can you do with those old folks idling around, suffering from cataracts?
Your third wife is too old to give you another child?
They’re not only human leather, human meat or an hemogen reserve for your blood-drinking pawn.
Some of you harvest a few organs to sell for a bit of silver, to buy a new television, the gold riffle you’ve always dreamed of, or just a little bit of hope. We don’t judge you.

Let me introduce you a new way of playing : the Organic-based Playthrough.

You’ll need a lot of brains, hearts and hemogen to follow this path, but the rewards are worth it.
Don’t worry, we’ll help you along the way. You just need to capture a few humans alive.
We have new technologies and building to harvest every valuable organ. We have drugs that increase hemogen production and creepy autonomous stations that harvest it automatically.
You’ll be able to produce more power, much more power. Well... you’ll need much more power for your colony too.
Some buildings will improve your pawns’ efficiency in every sector : production, surgery or cooking without risk of food poisoning.
Need to drill ? Don’t worry we have better drilling options than the vanilla ones, including fully automated systems !
Still need more steel than that? We can collect Ferropulp from the atmosphere using specialized machines and produce steal from it. With advanced technology, you can even build a fully automated collection and production network connected through underground pipes.
Are your pawns not trained enough? We have simulators to teach them how to fight in close combat or shoot like pros. Some of them may even gain new traits and be more badass than ever !
Do they need a psychological help ? Or maybe they need to learn how to trade or recruit people? We’ve got simulators for that too !
What? Your intellectual specialist just bled to death because of a squirrel bite? We have technology for that. Even the dumbest neanderthal in your colony can now research Micro-electronics now. Or better yet, we have automated research stations. They just need a lot of power… but thanks to us, you’ll have plenty of it. It’ll be fine, I promise.
You want an army? Don’t panic we have enhanced growth vats for you. They’re the fastest of the Rim and they simulate real-life experience, allowing to gain growth points as if they had a normal childhood.

Enjoy this mod and don’t forget :

Harvest them all!

Using a pawn for normal research while the Autonomous Cognition Unit is also conducting research at the same time may cause some issues. Research progress will be faster than using either method alone, but the bonus is currently not as effective as intended.

I apologize for any mistakes in my English.

I'm proud to say that I did everything myself, despite being pretty bad at artwork. ^^'

Q: Can I remove the mod during an ongoing game?
A: No, you shouldn't.

Q: Do I need a DLC?
A: Yes, only Biotech is required.

Q: Is this mod compatible with Combat Extended?
A: It should be.

Q: Why do I get a Heart, a Brain, and a Liver when I put a prisoner into the Bioprocessor Pod, even though they aren't all used in this mod?
A: The Liver will be used in a separate mod. A link will be added after its release.

Q: Did it take long to develop?
A: A little over two years. This is my first mod and my first experience coding in C#. It was horrible at the beginning, but now I really enjoy it.

Q: Why "Alliage" and not "Alloy"?
A: I'm French, and I'm proud to put French words everywhere. Besides, I think it sounds better... although that might just be me.

Q: Do you plan to make more mods?
A: A lot! This is the core mod. There will be two additional (and optional) companion modules: one that makes use of the Liver, and another focused on creating some crazy creatures.

After that, I have more ideas than I have time to develop them. I'll have to prioritize!
