Pesky's Petrikin Xenotype

Adds the Petrikin Xenotype, a race that is heavily based on Basilisks and their ability to petrify. Also includes a neat jacket!









Petrification is also reversible! There is an included item called the Mechanite De-petrifier. This will cause some minor trauma to the pawn affected by petrification.

Petrification in this mod literally just recolors a pawn, and puts them in stasis by stunning them and stopping almost everything. They should still be a regular pawn and can be captured and interacted with.

The added genes from this mod:

"Flayed Ears"

Carriers of this gene have mutated flayed-looking ears due to their reptilian ancestry.

"Spiked Tail"

Carriers of this gene have a reptilian tail tipped with sharp spikes which they can use in combat.

"Petrifying Glare"

Carriers of this gene can project archotech frequencies from their retinas, forcing organic cells to rapidly mineralize.

Grants the following abilities:

- Stonegaze
Target a single pawn and gaze into their eyes, and inflict petrification. Immobilizing them after a short period of time.

-Flashgaze
Target a small group of pawns and cause flash calcification, slowing them.

This mod also adds the following items:

Tracer Jacket

A lightweight, durable jacket favored by Petrikin skirmishers. While it offers slightly less raw protection than a standard flak jacket, it incorporates targeting assists and flexible joints that boost the wearer's shooting accuracy and melee hit chance, all while staying stylish.

Mechanite De-petrifier

A one-use mechanite injector tuned to reverse petrification. When applied to a petrified statue, the mechanites dissolve the stone and resurrect the person trapped within. Can also halt and reverse active petrification in living targets.\n\nThose who are restored from full petrification often suffer lasting psychological trauma from the experience of being conscious but completely immobilized.
