For reasons nobody can explain, colonists prefer to bonk enemies with the wrong end. This mod fixes that.
  • Melee stab damage: 9 → 13
  • DPS increased by 35% (4.4 → 5.93)
  • Normal quality damage is now close to a wooden club
  • Craftable at the crafting spot (50x wood, 20x steel)
  • Small increase in value due to changed materials (109 → 123)
No other changes. Ranged balance untouched. This is a simple XML patch that can safely be added to or removed from an existing save. Check the screenshots for details on melee verb selection and how pawns decide whether to stab or bonk. Credits The muffalo eyes were inspired by the completely unrelated preview image for the mod Smart Animal Lure by Anthitei.
