Portal Gun

Hello and welcome to Aperture Science's Rimworld division. We are very pleased to have you participating in our colonization experiment. You will be performing field research in order to learn the intricacies of crafting the Aperture Science Portable Quantum Tunneling Device.

If you are familiar with the ASHPD, also commonly known as a Portal Gun, then you will know they allow for the instantaneous travel between two points via the use of portals. While incredibly useful for important tasks such as solving puzzles or escaping death, the Portal Gun also allows for the optimization of many tasks colonists are faced with life on a rim world.

However, veterans of Portal Guns should beware, not all models are same. The creation and maintenance of portals requires a significant amount of power, so your basic model Portal Gun will require pulling a charge from your colony's power grid, so be prepared for the extra load. Perhaps with the proper components and time spent unlocking the mysteries of Portal Gun technology you will endeavor to craft a device as good as Aperture Science's, or even one better?
