Real Medical Emergency

Stop squinting at vanilla disease bars.

Stop squinting at vanilla disease bars. Real Medical Emergency turns RimWorld's health tab into a precise medical readout so you always know whether a colonist's immunity is winning the race against an infection — and warns you the moment it isn't.

Features

  • Decimal-accurate disease bars — immunizable illnesses show two decimal places, so you can see who is slipping at a glance instead of guessing at a rounded bar.
  • Actionable tooltips — hover any disease to see live disease and immunity speeds (% per hour), an ETA until the illness resolves (or turns lethal), and a clear warning when immunity can't keep up.
  • Immunity-lag alert — a dedicated alert fires (just like the vanilla mental-break-risk alert) whenever a colonist's immunity is falling behind a disease. Click it to jump straight to the pawn in danger.
  • Configurable in mod settings — set a "lag tolerance" so you're only alerted when the gap is large enough to matter, and toggle whether prisoners and slaves are included in the alert.
  • Compatibility-first — everything piggybacks on RimWorld's existing UI. No new tabs, no intrusive overlays, so it plays nicely with other medical mods.

Scope

Only immunizable illnesses (infection, flu, plague, malaria, etc.) are touched. Gut worms, muscle parasites, blood rot, mechanites, and other non-immunizable hediffs intentionally stay vanilla, because the base game doesn't expose immunity data for them.
Requires Harmony. Localized into 15+ languages.
