Red Amber
Like Jade, Red Amber is a luxury stone. It isn't particularly useful as a building material, but it is slightly rarer than Jade and worth a bit more.
RimBestos
A unique material that is both stone and fabric. It is weak as a construction material but provides excellent heat insulation. It isn't especially rare, and can often be recovered by deconstructing old structures found on the map.
Zortium
Slightly rarer than RimBestos, Zortium offers excellent protection against cold temperatures. It is a weak material overall, making it impractical for combat.
Astranium
A legendary material renowned for its durability and exceptional performance in bladed weapons. Rare and more valuable than gold.
Naraka
A heavy, durable construction material. It also makes excellent blunt weapons.
Ahi Crystals
About as rare as Astranium. Beautiful but fragile, with an incredibly sharp edge.
Nitaium
A metal that sits roughly between Steel and Plasteel in quality. It offers a small beauty bonus and makes decent armour for temperate climates, though it is less effective in extreme environments.
Vishnu Shakti
An ultra-rare material ideal for blunt weapons. Exceptionally durable and devastating in combat. You probably won't find much of it.
Interesting Gravel
Added just for fun. Mining it can uncover four types of prehistoric edible items and two types of health kits.
Summary
If you want better ways to survive extreme temperatures—or give the undead a good chopping—this mod might be for you. It won't dramatically change how RimWorld is played; it simply adds a little more variety and flavour.
The mod is made entirely through XML editing with custom artwork for the new materials. There are no new recipes, technologies, or research projects.
