A lord holding court: your colonists bring him their problems, you decide, and they remember what you decided (Petitioners from other neighboring colonies may also come to see you)

Build the "Lord's seat" spot under a throne or any fine chair and there you go. The spot slips under the furniture so the throne stays visible.

Cases are not invented. The court reads what your colonists actually remember, so it hears what your colony has lived trough.
25 kinds of case.(more to come)
A quiet colony has little to try, and it tells you so.

Each one comes up on a parchment. The parties, the claim, and the rulings open to you. Take the lord's seal, stamp the one you want, pronounce it. Saying nothing is also an answer, and not one anyone respects.

Verdicts are carried out on screen. Silver changes hands, work orders change, marriages end, and a man sentenced to the lash is flogged in front of the whole hall by whoever you hand the whip to. You pick him off a list showing what each candidate thinks of the condemned.

Every ruling builds a name: just, harsh, venal or weak. That name decides who brings what to court, whether strangers travel to be judged by you, and whether some ambitious colonist decides the seat should be his instead.
The court remembers its own rulings, and so does everyone who was standing there.

Character matters. A ruling can be refused, and the colonist it went against walks out of the hall in front of everyone. The abrasive, the greedy and the volatile do it more than the kind and the meek, and a harsh lord is almost never defied.
The lord has a temperament of his own. A kind man who orders a flogging carries it for days.
Order enough of them and he stops being a kind man.

Build your own hall

-Everything works with spots you place: the lord's seat, and an audience spot if you want petitioners standing at the far end of a long hall.
-Put them where you want and build the hall around them, a throne, banners, benches for the colony, whatever you like.
-The room counts. The court reads its impressiveness the same way the game already does, so a seat out in a field draws fewer strangers and gets argued with more than a seat in a great hall.
-There is a guide in game, on the spot.

Compatibility and Performance

* Safe to add to an existing save. Delete the spot befor removing the mod from one.
* Nothing runs on tick while court isnt sitting.
* Doesn't touch prisoners, sentencing or wardens. Justice mods keep their turf.
