RimTunes | Bring your music to RimWorld!
🎵 RimTunes Your colony.
🎵 RimTunes
Your colony. Your soundtrack.
Import your own music, create playlists, tag songs for different situations, and choose between manual playback or a dynamic soundtrack that reacts to your colony.
Two Ways to Play
Choose a mode on first launch and change it anytime in Settings.
- Dynamic Music System - RimTunes selects music to fit your colony's current situation.
- Manual Mode - Full control over playlists, song order, shuffle, repeat, and playback.
Both modes include: custom music import, playlists, song tags, hotkeys, volume normalization, smooth transitions, and the mini-player overlay.
Dynamic Music System
Turn your library into a living RimWorld soundtrack. Tag songs for specific conditions and let RimTunes select suitable tracks automatically.
- Danger - Tense music during raids and combat, calmer music when danger passes
- Time of day - Daytime, nighttime, and custom time ranges
- Weather - Rain, snow, fog, toxic fallout, and more
- Seasons - Spring, summer, fall, and winter
- Game conditions - Map-wide events and conditions, including supported mod content
- Biomes - Deserts, forests, ice sheets, tropical maps, and more
- Royal titles - Optional Royalty DLC integration
RimTunes avoids recently played tracks, supports smooth transitions, and can use either your whole library or one selected playlist.
Example: Tag a song as Peaceful + Night + Winter for quiet snowy evenings, then forbid it during danger so it never plays in a raid.
