S.O.P. The Saint of Predator

She is like an excited and precise tactical hound, always wearing a smile, pushing the battlefield to ever greater intensity.

Mod Overview

S.O.P. The Saint of Predator is a special storyteller built around the Extreme Peak system. Once the player colony reaches 100,000 wealth, she will send a Challenge Envelope every 7 days. After receiving the first envelope, you can click the Extreme Peak small window to enter a Win98-style tactical briefing interface, choose one of three sub-factions, and freely stack various difficulty modifiers. The more modifiers you enable, the stronger the enemies become, but the rewards will also be more generous. She actively pushes you forward, laughing non-stop, enjoying this eternal hunt together with you.

Core Mechanics

Challenge Envelope Cycle

When the colony's total wealth reaches 100,000, the Challenge Envelope system officially activates. After that, every 7 days, S.O.P. will send a new challenge letter.
  • If no choice is made for a long time, S.O.P. will randomly lock a theme and automatically start the countdown.
  • After each challenge ends, the cycle resets, and a new challenge letter will arrive after 7 days.

Extreme Peak Selection

Each challenge letter provides 3 random hostile sub-factions, drawn from the following 4 major enemy themes: Theme Enemy Type Examples Human Factions Random Factions E.g. Pirates, Outlanders, Empire (compatible mod factions) Insectoids Hive Creatures Megaspider, Spelopede (supports modded insectoids) Mechanoids Mechanoid Clusters Scyther, Centipede (supports modded mechanoids) Anomalies Anomaly Entities (Anomaly DLC) Fleshbeasts, Shamblers (supports modded entities, though this part is uncertain because entities are rather special) Select the enemy you wish to challenge, then prepare for battle.

Difficulty Modifier System

After choosing an enemy, you can freely enable various difficulty modifiers. These modifiers enhance enemies or weaken colonists, while also increasing the final reward tier. Modifier Effect Cost Enemy Quality Boost (Tier 1/2/3) Enemy composition quality and quantity increase; proportion of low-tier mobs decreases 2 / 4 / 6 Enemy Attack Boost Melee damage and shooting accuracy increased by 10% / 20% / 40% 1 / 2 / 4 Enemy Defense Boost Sharp and blunt armor increased by 15% / 30% / 50% 1 / 2 / 4 Enemy Health Boost Health multiplier increased by 20% / 40% / 80% 1 / 2 / 4 Enemy Move Speed Boost Movement speed increased by 0.5 / 1.0 / 1.5 tiles/sec 1 / 2 / 4 Colonist Ranged Penalty Shooting accuracy reduced by 5% / 10% / 20% 1 / 2 / 4 Colonist Melee Penalty Melee hit chance reduced by 5% / 10% / 20% 1 / 2 / 4 Colonist Move Speed Penalty Movement speed reduced by 0.5 / 1.0 / 1.5 tiles/sec 1 / 2 / 4 Enemy Damage Reduction Enemies only take 95% / 90% / 80% of damage 1 / 2 / 4 When Enemy Weakness Not Exploited Stability damage reduced by 20% / 40% / 60% 1 / 2 / 4

Reward Tier System

The higher the total modifier cost, the higher the reward tier. Total Cost Reward Contents Any value (first-time clear) Silver, themed resources, and exclusive relics 18+ Extra Reward I: Common and high-frequency rewards 24+ Extra Reward II: Medium-frequency rewards and high-quality items 28+ Extra Reward III: Low-frequency rare rewards After a successful defense, rewards will be delivered via drop pod.

Combat Mechanics

During Extreme Peak battles, both side's attributes are adjusted via Hediffs:
  • Enemies gain attack, defense, health and move speed bonuses according to modifiers
  • Colonists suffer accuracy and move speed penalties according to modifiers
  • Enemies with special marks will die immediately upon being downed and cannot be captured
  • If the battle lasts more than 1 day, the Hediffs automatically disappear, and the challenge will be judged a failure
