Stop Gizmo

A simple utility mod that adds a "Stop" button to your pawns, allowing you to manually interrupt their current activity with one click instead of drafting and undrafting your pawn every time.

Features

The Stop Button adds a dedicated gizmo to the selection bar of player-controlled pawns, animals, mechs, and other controllable entities. When activated, it instantly interrupts whatever the pawn is currently doing. If you have multiple jobs queued up via shift-clicking, clicking "Stop" will skip only the current task, allowing the pawn to proceed immediately to the next one in the list. The command is defaulted to the X key, which can be remapped at any time in the standard game options.

Usage

This mod is intended to replace the "Draft/Undraft" dance often used to cancel a pawn's current movement or task. It is particularly useful for making a pawn stop walking across the map without clearing their entire job queue, skipping a single prioritized task that is no longer needed, or quickly resetting a pawn's AI if they are doing something unintended. You can see how the mod works here.

Compatibility

Stop Gizmo is safe to add to or remove from existing save games at any time. There are no known conflicts with other mods, as it uses a very lightweight patch that does not overwrite core game code.
