Traitless Extra Pain Gene
This mod makes the Extra Pain gene's Pain Shock Threshold -50% and Global Certainty Loss Factor x200% apply directly, instead of doing so by forcing the Wimp trait.
This mod makes the Extra Pain gene's Pain Shock Threshold -50% and Global Certainty Loss Factor x200% apply directly, instead of doing so by forcing the Wimp trait. Therefore, you can now stack the Extra Pain gene with traits like Wimp, Brawler or Masochist.
This mod does NOT retain the interactions between the original Extra Pain gene and the Ideology precepts Scarification and Pain, nor the Pain is Virtue meme (as I am not willing to put the effort into coding that).
The Wimp trait remains untouched by this mod, and thus still interacts with the Ideology Precepts and Meme.
It never made sense to me that a pawn with a character trait they developed, like Brawler, could just have it directly disabled by a gene they might have been born with, instead of just having it applied on top, when possible.
