This Mod is a continuation of THIS MOD, originally by Sk4p3g04t!! The Contemptor Dreadnought is a massive war machine piloted by a mortally wounded imperial infantryman. Ancient, rare and immensly powerful, the contemptor is a remnant of bygone glory. To those who call themselves enemies of the Emperor, the contemptor is doom eons years in the making. Long before the Junkers were formed on the Galactic Rim, and well before the Shattered Empire's home world of Sophiamunda collapsed, these cybernetic combat walkers marked the apex power of imperial Loyalty Squads. These Contemptor Pattern Dreadnaughts served as a cybernetic life support for a Stellic Defender who was so badly wounded in battle that his only chance for continued service lay in being interred with the cybernetic sarcophagus of a Dreadnought. All modern War Caskets, which are much simpler and less powerful, descend from this Sophian pattern, which is still fielded by the Shattered Empire to this day. This pattern is a closely guarded secret and its Tech Prints are only available to friends of the Empire and other extremely high-tech societies, with few exceptions.
