- Sectoid Drones Slender and pale with smooth yellowish skin, bulbous heads, and oversized black eyes. Though frail, sterile, and cursed with delicate stomachs, their heightened sensitivity to psychic energy — and eerie green slime blood — mark them as unmistakably alien.
- Sectoids The typical variant of the small-bodied aliens with elongated skulls and piercing, red, human-like eyes. They bleed green slime, possess slight telepathic ability, and have fragile constitutions. Their curiosity drives them, but their sterility ensures their legacy depends on your choices.
- Sectoid Commanders Distinguished by rough, angular skulls and round crimson eyes set in slate-gray skin, these Sectoids radiate powerful psychic energy. Their frail stomachs and delicate forms belie their sharp minds and innate psionic mastery.
- Sectoid Hybrids Born of sectoid and human DNA, these beings bear unusual human-like skull shapes and black eyes. They share the Sectoid’s green slime blood and psychic affinity, yet remain sterile.
