A Level 20 shooter is picking off enemies one by one with a marksman rifle, when out of nowhere, a random arrow pierces their Marine Helmet. Another shooter has to drop their weapon, pull out a medkit, and patch them up. The result? Your melee blockers lose their rear fire support and get poked to death by a bunch of spear-wielding tribals.
Haha, sound familiar? Scenes like this are playing out all over the Rim right now. You could be next—unless you make the most important decision of your life and subscribe to the "Battlefield First Aid" mod.
What does this mod do?
It's common sense that if a pawn has a medkit in their inventory, you can right-click to tend to wounded allies while drafted, right? This mod expands that usable item list to include other drugs and combat stimulants. In theory, it's compatible with almost any modded drug that has an active effect.
Typical Scenario?
You can just shove a bottle of Go-juice down your downed buddy's throat, let them get up and patch themselves up, while you stay focused on providing fire support for the frontline. It's that simple.
If your tactics rely heavily on pawn-based fire support for static defense, or kiting enemies across open fields, give this mod a try. But if your base already has enough automated turrets to turn any raid into ash, then this mod probably won't do much for you.
