Dramatically increases the frequency of things falling from the sky — transport pods, meteorites, ship chunks, and crashed ship parts.

Dramatically increases the frequency of things falling from the sky — transport pods, meteorites, ship chunks, and crashed ship parts.

All six event types are individually configurable via Mod Settings (Options menu). Each event can be enabled or disabled independently, its relative spawn weight adjusted with a slider, and the overall event frequency set from 1 to 20 events per in-game day.

EVENTS

Refugee pod crash — a transport pod carrying a refugee crashes near your colony. The refugee will request rescue and may join if helped.

Resource pod crash — an unmanned supply pod crashes, leaving behind useful goods.

Meteorite impact — a meteorite strikes the ground and leaves behind a lump of ore.

Ship chunk drop — a chunk of ancient ship debris falls from orbit and lands on the map.

Crashed ship part (defoliator) — a piece of mechanoid-crewed ship crashes nearby. Its defoliator field will kill all plants in an expanding circle. Mechanoids will defend it. Destroy it quickly. A second defoliator will not spawn while one is already present on the map.

Crashed ship part (psychic emanator) — a piece of mechanoid-crewed ship crashes nearby. Its onboard psychic projector will afflict your colonists with unspeakable urges. Mechanoids will defend it. Destroy it quickly. A second psychic ship will not spawn while one is already present on the map.

SETTINGS

All settings are adjustable at any time from the Options menu without restarting.

- Enable/disable each event type individually.
- Set the relative spawn weight for each event (0–100). Weights are relative to one another — the effective probability of each event is shown live as a percentage.
- Set overall event frequency (1–20 events per in-game day).

Note: the vanilla storyteller continues to fire its own incidents independently. This mod adds events on top of the normal game rate.
