Pantstain's AOFC Normal Raids

A small XML balance patch for The Army Of Fetid Corpses (Continued).

The original mod's Necronoid horde incidents can be scheduled independently of ordinary raids and then create a RaidEnemy with five times the normal storyteller threat points. The Necronoid faction also becomes increasingly more likely to be selected as raid points rise.

What this patch changes

  • Removes the separately scheduled Necronoid horde incidents.
  • Removes the separately scheduled center-drop horde incident.
  • Prevents both custom 5x incidents from entering the normal threat pool.
  • Sets the Necronoid faction's raid-selection weight to the normal flat value of 1.

What it DOES NOT change
  • The AOFC custom scenario's scripted weekly horde; that scenario deliberately references the special horde incident.
  • Other AOFC incidents, monsters, equipment, or mechanics.
  • Pawn combatPower values.

The faction can still raid normally whenever RimWorld generates an ordinary RaidEnemy incident. Those raids use the storyteller's normal timing and normal threat-point budget.

Compatibility
  • RimWorld 1.6
  • Requires The Army Of Fetid Corpses (Continued)
  • Safe to add mid-save
  • Load after the required mod; RimSort should handle this automatically

This patch does not alter pawn combat power, creatures, equipment, infection mechanics, or the mod's other special events. The AOFC custom scenario's deliberately scripted horde remains unchanged.
