Quartermaster

Quartermaster adds a UI that works out the best gear your colony can make right now.

Quartermaster adds a UI that works out the best gear your colony can make right now. It reads your research, your workbenches and your stockpiles, then builds a complete armor set with no slot conflicts and ranks every weapon you can craft.
It also provides weapon comparison and searching for items by stat buffs!

  • Best craftable set - a full, non-conflicting armor loadout from the materials you actually have.
  • One-click Craft - queues the bill on the right workbench, locked to the exact material shown. Modded benches work too.
  • Stat tooltips - hover any item to see exactly where its score comes from.
  • Show crafted - mix the gear you already own into the rankings for easy comparison.

  • Armor diagram - protection per body region, with an adjustable armor cap so the optimizer knows when to stop stacking armor and start adding utility.
  • Best possible - what your benches could make if all materials were available.
  • Show unavailable - every craftable item in the game, with whatever you're missing (research, bench or materials) marked in red.
  • On the map - the best gear already lying around your colony, with a button to jump straight to it.
  • Exclusions - hide items or whole materials you never want suggested. Nothing is ever hidden automatically.

  • Weapon tab - everything you can craft plus all crafted items available on the map and equipped by pawns, sortable by DPS, armor penetration, damage, range, accuracy and more.
  • Range-based scoring - pick the ranges you actually want (Close / Short / Medium / Long) and the list re-ranks for them, weapons get better scores the better they are at all selected ranges.
  • Real crafted stats - crafted weapons shown with material and quality, scored with their boosted quality stats.

  • Buffs view - every wearable stat bonus in one searchable list, work speed to insulation, to carry weight.
  • Combat role presets - Melee or Ranged, Heavy or Agile. One slider blends raw armor against the stats that role cares about.
  • Custom presets - pick your own buffs, name the preset, and keep it across all your saves. The premade ones are fully editable too.
  • Pin items - lock a piece into the set and the optimizer builds the rest around it.
  • Create policy - turn any preset's set into an apparel policy with one click.

  • CE? CE isnt directly supported currently, it will work but the calculations wont be true to the CE calculations.
  • Works with modded gear. It reads the game's live recipe list, so armor, weapons and benches from other mods show up next to the vanilla ones. No patches needed.
  • Safe to add or remove mid-save. It only reads your game and queues bills; it never writes to your save.
  • No DLC required. RimWorld 1.6.
