Smarter RimWorld – AI & Logic Suite

🧠 AI & Logic Overhaul – 1.6 Compatible

A carefully curated collection of mods that enhance how all pawns think and act in RimWorld, including colonists, visitors, and enemies.

This collection focuses on AI and logic improvements that are designed to be universal and additive, making it safe to use on top of other collections or overhauls.

These mods aim to make gameplay more realistic, smarter, and dynamic, while also occasionally adding challenge or streamlining tedious interactions.

They’re perfect for anyone who wants more intelligent pawns and smoother interactions, whether you’re playing vanilla or heavily modded.

✨ Collection Highlights

🔹 Pawns prioritize their actions more logically (e.g., hauling, cleaning, tending, social, combat).
🔹 Smarter combat target selection for colonists and enemies.
🔹 Improved medicine usage and field tending with inventory support.
🔹 Opportunistic cleaning, hauling, and ingredient management without breaking vanilla behavior.
🔹 Conditional behavior: weather avoidance, outdoor recreation, snow cleanup logic.
🔹 Inventory-aware construction, building, and meal usage.
🔹 Optional features make some tasks easier or more realistic while keeping balance.

❓ Why This Collection Exists

Many smaller AI or logic mods are often overlooked, unpatched, or incompatible with newer versions of RimWorld.

This collection:

✔ Combines only 1.6-compatible mods for reliability.
✔ Avoids large gameplay changes so it’s easy to add to any collection.
✔ Groups useful logic mods that improve realism, efficiency, and challenge.
✔ Provides a hub for smaller, underrated AI mods that are quality but not widely known.

This is intended as a modular, universal AI logic suite for any playstyle, and works in tandem with overhauls like Vanilla Expanded, Medieval, or Fantasy packs without forcing changes to core gameplay.

⚠️ Performance Notes

🚨 While You Are Nearby:
May cause pathfinding spikes on very large mod lists (200+), likely due to multithreading and nearby work search logic. Verse.MapPreTick can spike up to ~200 ms. Works normally otherwise.

This collection is generally lightweight, but keep an eye on mod interactions if you add other AI-intensive mods.

🔧 Recommended Use

📌 Load order is flexible, but for best performance, follow the copy-paste order provided.
📌 Compatible with most modpacks, overhauls, and expansions.
📌 If you’re using combat mods that modify AI or logic, consider removing the mods listed at the bottom, as they may cause conflicts.
📌 Fully reversible: uninstalling does not break saves, although some first-use “stuck” issues may require drafting and undrafting pawns.

💡 Collection Advice
To keep this collection closer to vanilla balance and maximize compatibility with other overhauls
