⚔ True RPG Backpacks ⚔

A craftable, lootable backpack for True RPG Inventory. Strap one on to unlock a second Diablo-style inventory grid, roughly double what your colonist can carry, and crack open sealed packs stuffed with random loot.

✦ A Second Inventory Grid

  • Twice the space — wearing a backpack adds a full second 10×4 tetris grid, labelled Backpack, right below your main inventory.
  • Drag anywhere — pick an item up in one grid and drop it in the other. The two grids share one cursor, so moving gear between them is seamless.
  • No shrinking — the gear tab grows when a pack is worn, so the paper doll and both grids keep their full size instead of squeezing down.
  • Overflow aware — items spill into the backpack automatically when your main grid fills up.

✦ Carry More

A worn backpack inherently increases carrying capacity, scaling with the pawn — roughly doubling how much weight a colonist can haul before getting encumbered. It feeds the mass bar, over-encumbrance checks, and caravan capacity.

✦ Sealed Mystery Loot

  • Found full — backpacks discovered as loot, quest rewards, or pulled off raiders have a chance to spawn sealed and stuffed with random items — including modded gear from anything in your load order.
  • Equip to open — you can't peek inside a sealed pack. Have a colonist wear it and the contents spill straight into their backpack grid. What's in the bag?
  • Crafted is clean — packs you craft yourself are always empty.

✦ Craftable & Lootable

  • Build your own — stitch a backpack at any tailoring bench or crafting spot from cloth or leather.
  • Find them in the world — they turn up in quest/loot rewards and on industrial-era pawns, so you can strip one off a downed raider.

✦ Requirements

Load after True RPG Inventory. Backpacks render as a proper pack on your colonist's back.
